    June 4-8 is a retreat at Camp Victory in Zumbrota, MN. The rest of training will take place in the Twin Cities.

    Intro to Missionary Spirituality (Choose at least one)

    1. Hungry, Humble, Smart Learn how to be a team player as a missionary through an online video-based course.  Approx. 45 min.

    2. Life in the Holy Spirit  With a mentor, follow Scripture study on Acts to grow in understanding a relationship with the Holy Spirit and His gifts. Two 1-hour meetings. Intended for those who have not experienced Fan into Flame or an equivalent.

    3. Building a Daily Prayer Life Intended for those who are new to a habit of daily prayer, this course includes praying daily and meeting once a week with a mentor to discuss (for 4 weeks). Approx. 20-30 min meetings.

  • Intro to Missionary Training  (#1 is required, others are optional)

    1. Showing up as Sons & Daughters Reading and video-based Thinkific course diving into what it means to live out our identity as children of God and how to address when living this way is challenged. Approx 1 hour.

    2. Living in Household  Learn the foundations of SPO Household through a video course, then meet with a returning missionary to discuss further. Intended for those who have not lived in an SPO Household. Approx 1 hour.

    3. Skills for Starting New Relationships Beginning service with SPO involves forming many new relationships. This course offer some "tricks of the trade" so you can begin confidently. Thinkific video-based course. Approx 40 min.
